While working there as a teacher, he allegedly sent inappropriate text messages to two students. Just before 10:00 a.m. on April 28, 2023, a Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station school resource officer was sent to Ortega High School after a female student, 16, accused Campbell of harassing her.
